No refunds, except when a vet certificate is emailed within 24 hours after the event has taken place, refund minus 50% admin fee
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £3 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)

Online entries only at www.horse-events.co.uk Closing date – Monday 1st April 2024. £15 entry fee per class. All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee as stated online Paramedic first aid cover provided by Dorset Medical Services £3 per rider. Approximate start times will be available on Friday 5th April on www.ponyclubresults.co.uk Teams of 3 or 4 with best 3 scores to count. No rider may ride more than one horse/pony in one team. All classes will be run as single phase with the second half of the course to be timed. Course walks will take place at regular intervals throughout the day. Classes 1,2 & 3- the top 2 Pony Club teams and top 3 Pony Club individuals to qualify for the Bicton Mini Championships. No pony may enter more than 2 classes not including clear round.
GENERAL RULES The decision of the judges shall be final, and no objections shall be entertained. The organisers retain the right to disqualify any competitor for any cruelty or dis-courteousness. No horse or pony under the age of five may compete. Hard hats to current Pony Club standards must be worn with the chin strap fastened. Pony Club members must display the pink hat tag. Numbers to be printed in advance and attached to rider, or inserted into number bibs. Whips – 2023 ruling will be enforced on the day. The lunging or riding of horses/ponies in bearing, check or balancing reins is not permitted. All dogs must be kept on leads. The organisers reserve the right to cancel and/or amend any of the classes as they feel fit, or to alter advertised times or refuse entry, without stating reason. Outside assistance will be penalised. All classes as per Pony Club Show Jumping rules 2024. Please take home all horse droppings from car park.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring They must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.
Competitors who are not members of The Pony Club are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Blackmore and Sparkford Vale Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
LEGAL LIABILITY
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
