Before the closing date please login to your Horse Events Account and cancel your entry. To withdraw after the closing date please contact the event Organiser northnorthumberland@pcuk.org

Refunds

After the closing date no refunds will be made without a doctors or Vets certificate produced no later than 24 hours after the event.

Refunds where due after the closing date are subject to an admin fee of £5.00 made payable to organising branch.

 

Event Cancelled by Organiser

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

Entry information

Combination of horse and rider can compete at two adjacent levels i.e., combinations can compete at PC70 and PC80, PC90 and PC100 or PC100 and PC110 (PCSJR2024 Rule 1) All entries should be made online using www.horse-events.co.uk. PC110 Open (only) individuals will be put into a combined team approved by the Area Representative and will be eligible to qualify for the Championships. If a combined team is in a qualifying position based on current rules, then they will be eligible to qualify, and the next placed “full branch/centre” team will also qualify. For Pony Club entries you will need your membership number and Branch/Centre to enter a qualifying class. Horse and rider changes may be made before the closing date online by logging into your Horse Events account and editing your entry under the ‘my booking’ tab. Should you need to cancel an entry or change a class after the closing date please email info@horse-events.co.uk. Eligibilty

Please familiarise yourselves with all rule books.

Eligibility for Area Qualifying Competitions and The Championships, please refer to Rules 1 and 18 of the Pony Club Show Jumping Rule Book 2025 https://pcuk.org/showjumping/

No horse may be ridden more than once at the same level in any one year in any of the qualifying competitions or at the Show Jumping Championships.

Scores

There will be no scoreboards at the event. All results will be live online and can be seen on www.ponyclubresults.co.uk

Entry Conditions

Useful Information All classes will run on a grass arena and indoors for each round. Should weather conditions dictate and unless it is necessary to decide on qualifying places, the organisers reserve the right (in consultation with team managers) to waive the jump off. Numbers in the warm up will be limited. Please do not enter the warm up arena until you have been invited to by the steward. There will be a tack and dress check before your first showjumping round which will be held next to indoor arena; please allow time for this before your warm up. Any abuse of horses/ponies, officials, other competitors, or members of the public will not be tolerated and those found doing so will be asked to leave the venue with no compensation and may be reported to the relevant authority. Judges’ decision is final. Any objection must be handed to the Day Secretary in writing with a £30 deposit (which will be forfeited if the objection is not upheld) within 15 minutes of the incident and BEFORE the end of that class. Please see the Pony Club Show Jumping Rule Book 2025. No horses/ponies may be left tied to the outside of trailers/lorries without supervision. Please clear any muck/rubbish and do not leave on the field/lorry park. In the event of cancellation refunds will be processed by Horse Events. In the event of a competition being abandoned, for whatever reason, a refund of 50% of the entry fee will be made via horse-events. All refunds will be subject to an administration fee. Late entries will be accepted only at the discretion of the organisers and will be subject to a £7.00 late entry fee. The show will be run under The Pony Club Show jumping Rules 2025. Rules available on the main Pony Club website. 

Vaccination Policy

Please ensure your members comply with 2025 eligibility, hat tagging, body protector and medical armband rules. Teams shall comprise 3 or 4 members of the same Pony Club Branch or Centre. Individuals may be combined into an Area Team pursuant to Rule 2(a) of the PCSJR 2025 Please Print your own Paper Number Late entries after the closing date may be accepted by the organisers at their discretion. Late Entry Surcharge £7.00 per entry contact event organiser or secretary. Queries may only be raised via the Secretary by the DC or their appointee. Protests / objections will be managed as per Rule 41. A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Vaccinations must be in accordance with The Pony Club Influenza Vaccination Rule 2025 Photographic Rights – competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club. Misuse of spurs by any competitor will be recorded and reported and may result in disqualification from the competition.

Terms and Conditions

Classes will run a surfaced arena and on grass. NO STUDS to be worn on the surfaced arenas.

Teams will run in the order drawn which will be the same for the first two rounds.

If weather conditions dictate and unless it is necessary to decide on qualifying places, the organisers reserve the right to waive the jump off.

Please do not enter the warn up arena until you have been invited to be the steward.

There will be a tack and dress check before the first round of show jumping. Please allow time for this before your warmup.

Horses/ponies will not be allowed to compete without their passport with valid flu vaccinations. A horse with a non compliant passport will not be allowed to compete.

Numbers must be printed out by each competitor and should be worn front and back if wearing a number bib and on each side (A5) on saddle cloths. DO NOT use bridle numbers.
