Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Withdrawal Date: 15/06/2024


No Refunds after the withdrawal date. Before this date full refunds to be given. After the closing date refunds will only be given if a doctors or vets certificate is produced no later than 24 hours after the event.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

After the closing date if allowed please make any additional changes via your horse events account. If you unable to please contact Horse Events Direct info@horse-events.co.uk. There may be a fee associated with making changes to your entry.

First Aid in attendance Vet & Farrier on call

No mucking out of lorries or trailers in the lorry park and please take ALL dropping, hay and rubbish home with you. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and only walked round in the parking area. We are very grateful for the support of some wonderful local organisations who have generously provided us with extra sponsorship to enable us to run this competition. If you get the opportunity to return the favour, you can enjoy their excellent services!

Substitutions

• After the closing date substitutions may only be made as per Rule 36 of The Pony Club Dressage Rules 2024.

There will be an administration fee of £5.00

Prizes & Prize Giving

Individual Rosettes per arena 1st – 10th

Team Rosettes 1st – 6th

PRIZE GIVING: Prize giving times will be announced on the day.

• All prize winners must be correctly dressed in their competition clothes.

• District Commissioners, their Representative on the day or Team Trainers shall be given the Judges’ sheets on the completion of the contest when the Judges have sanctioned their distribution and all scores have been published.

• Results will be posted on www.ponyclubresults.co.uk

Rules

This competition will be run in accordance with The Pony Club Dressage Rules 2024

• It is the responsibility for each individual/Pony Club to ensure these are adhered to both when entering the competition and on the day with particular attention paid to:

• Eligibility of entries both of horse and rider

• Grassroots PC80 Dressage Test: Combination of horse and rider are NOT eligible if they have Previously represented their Branch/Centre at Novice level or above in any Dressage or Eventing Area Competition, competed above Prelim level with British Dressage or (DI) at BD Novice Team/ My Quest, previously completed in a Spring Festival Novice or above Dressage Championships, or been placed 1st- 4th in the ride-off at a previous Regional Dressage Championships.

• Preliminary PC70 Dressage Test is for riders aged 13 years and under on 1st January 2024. Riders are NOT eligible to enter if they have previously competed at Grassroots or above Area or Regional Competition for Dressage. Completed above Prelim level with BD or DI or at BD Novice Team/My Quest or previously completed a Spring Festival Grassroots or above at Championships.

• Preliminary PC70 plus is solely for individuals – there is no team competition. Members must be aged 14 and over on 1st January of current year. Riders are Not eligible is they have previously completed above Prelim level with BD, DI or at BD Novice Team/My Quest, previously completed at any Grassroots or above Area or Regional Champs, or previously completed a Spring Festival Grassroots Dressage Champs.

• Ensuring riders are wearing the correct dress especially with regards to hat tagging

• Ensuring horses have the correct tack

• Competitors must present themselves for tack check at least 30 minutes before competition time

• Please Print your own Paper Number

• Protests/Objections: Only the DC or their appointed representative are entitled to lodge protests/objections. Please refer to Rule 50 for detailed instructions including the requirement of a deposit of £50

• Photographic Rights – competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials.
