Schools Equestrian Games
“Showcasing tomorrow’s equestrian talent”
We pride ourselves of well organised events with clear communication in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere, providing a platform for all school children to compete in equestrian sport at all levels of competition.
Any Schools Equestrian Games event is open to any child attending school with consent from the head teacher to represent the school at competitions (children home schooled can compete).
‘SEG Registration Form’- this form is required to be completed online the first time your school is represented at an SEG competition before close of entries for the competition.
Only ONE form is required per school- a list of registered schools is available here if you are unsure whether your are registered.
(A new form is not required unless the head of your school changes).
All entries must be made via the Horse-Events website for any SEG event whether it is organised by Horse-Events or not.
Entries can be made by a parent with the approval of the school via the ‘SEG Registration Form’.
Individual entries can be made online by Team Manager or Parent
Team entries will be accepted in a number of ways to allow for flexibility with entries
– All enter individually and the team manger to confirm by email
– Team manager enters all 4 members
Payments can be made for SEG events by Card, Cheque or Bacs but all details need to be submitted online first.
For Pay later (Cheque and Bacs) please select this option when booking.
The number of entries allowed per school will be stated on the individual event schedule.
Entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

School Equestrian Games Eventing Championships 2021
The SEG Eventing Championships is a series of ODE’s around the country to give children the opportunity to compete for their schools and qualify for the Schools Equestrian Games Eventing Championships at Broadway in 2021. (DATE TBC)

22nd & 23rd May Elmwood Equestrian, Oxfordshire

7th & 8th August Elmwood Equestrian, Oxfordshire
28th & 29th August Broadway Worcestershire
11th & 12th September Swalcliffe, Oxfordshire

Arena Eventing 2020/2021 events
Gatcombe Qualifier (90cm) 7th or 8th August Day TBC
Barbury Qualifier (100cm) 8th-11th July Day TBC
SEG Arena Eventing Qulifier for Gatcombe (90CM) & Barbury (100CM) Championship.
Open to all schools registered to the School Equestrian Games, it is free to register and is a one time registrations for each school which can be completed HERE
HOW TO QUAILIFY
Individuals & teams of 3. – (Teams must consist of 3 different rider and 3 different ponies from the same school)
GET YOUR GOLDEN TICKET TO THE CHAMPIONSHIPS
At each of the 3 Qualifying competitions the Top 2 teams and Top 3 individuals will qualify to compete at Gatcombe Festival of Eventing (90cm) & Barbury International Horse Trials (100cm) in the SEG Arena Eventing final.
Qualifying ballot to the championships – go double clear at one of the SEG ODE’s between April & the date of the final and have your chance to enter the championships. (Please note this way of qualifying is not guarenteed as in teh event of oversubsciption a ballot will take place
Any School which has 3 riders competing will be entered into the individual & team competition.
