In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £5.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

GENERAL:
• To be run in accordance with Pony Club Tetrathlon Rules 2024
• Late entries may be accepted at the organiser’s discretion. Late Entry Surcharge £5.
• Queries during the competition may only be raised to the Organiser: Stellar Powell by the DC of the relevant competitor or their appointee.
• Photographic Rights: competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.
SHOOTING:
• Protective or prescription glasses are recommended at all levels of competition and are COMPULSORY for competitors shooting at 7m. Pistols must remain boxed until competitors are asked to unbox them by the range steward. All pistols should be flagged to comply with new rules. Please indicate on entry form if competitor is left-handed or if gun shares are required. No first-time shooters allowed and it is assumed that Branch DC’s/Team Managers have approved shooting competence of their members.
SWIMMING:
• Only one coach/parent will be allowed at the end of the pool.
• Buoyancy aids will be allowed in Class 1 only
• Swimming hats must be worn in the pool
• Dive certificates will be required on entry if the competitor wishes to dive
RUNNING:
• Running for all classes will take place in packs.
SCORING & OBJECTIONS:
Please notify the organiser of any scoring errors ASAP.
The final set of results will be confirmed ASAP on the day of the event. For any objections to be made, we will be issuing a query form that will need to be filled in and returned to the organiser. This will be given on the day to anyone wanting to make objections. We will require this form to be returned so we can investigate the objection. If you would like to object or have us check your score, you have 15 mins after publication of the scores to do so and with a £10 deposit.
FOOD: There will be the usual Wylye home cooked refreshments available on Sunday 17th November.

Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
3. Event Ethos:
We, the Wylye Valley Branch of the Pony Club, would like to assume every competitor entering our competition has done so with the prospect of enjoyment and the possibility of improving personal and/or team goals. We warmly welcome those new to tetrathlon / triathlon competition and hope to encourage and enthuse their further participation in this great event. For parents/carers supporting the competitors, we ask you also to try and enjoy
the day and help your children identify the many positive aspects of their participation.
