Please select the route you wish to take and your starting time slot. Each slot will have a maximum of 25 riders.

All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis.

The Ride

 The Ride

All riders will be allocated a number.  Please check Horse events for your number after the 11 May, download your number and print it.  Make sure it is clearly visible on your front and back when riding.

Please ensure that you arrive at the event in good to time to commence your ride at the allotted time.

All riders must report to the stewards on arrival, check in at appropriate points on the ride and on completion of the ride.

No walkers or cyclists except for one adult accompanying a child on lead-rein

The route will be clearly signed with tape and arrows.

Map will be uploaded to horse-events two weeks before the ride.

J and K Photography will be covering the event and taking photographs of all riders.

Rules and Covid Measures

Health and Safety

All riders must have 3rd party liability insurance

Hard hats and suitable footwear must be worn at all times.

There will be first-aid attendants, however riders participate entirely at their own risk.

Good riding manners are requested at all times. Please be cautious when overtaking others as they may be novice riders, or on young horses.

Riders should take note of ground conditions and ride at an appropriate speed to mitigate the risk of slipping, falling or losing control of their horse/pony.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Neither the landowners nor the organisers nor anyone acting on their behalf accept responsibility for loss, damage, accident, illness or injury to ponies, horses, riders and spectators or their property. It is a condition of entry that each rider shall hold the landowners and organisers harmless and that he/she shall be deemed to indemnify the aforesaid against any legal proceedings, expenses or damages whatsoever arising from any incident. Everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers.

COVID 19 precautions

Everyone taking part or supporting a rider(s) must observe standard social distancing measures:

Stay a minimum of 2m apart from people not from the same household when mounted and on the ground.
No handshaking or hugging.
Please cough or sneeze into a tissue, which should be taken home with you and discarded in a closed topped bin.
Wash/ sanitise your hands regularly and especially after touching something that has been touched by other people

Anyone (including non-riding support crew) found to be in breach of the above will be asked to leave the site immediately.

 

Event Booking Information

This event is being organised by Woodhurst Group RDA. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.

As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.

We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.
