Clear Round Jumping 1 x round – First class of the day.
Every Competitor gets a rosette for Jumping a Clear Round
Clear Round Jumping 2nd round same horse and rider combination
Class 1 Mini Spooktacular - 60 cms
Horse and rider combination not to have competed at a height exceeding 80cm.
Class 2 Spider Web Dodge - 70 cms
Open or PC Horse and rider combination not to have won 1st, 2nd 3rd at this height or above (novice).
Class 3: ( Qualifier ) Halloween Hunting - 80 cms
PC Debut 1st Round Competition or Open
Qualifiers for The Pony Club Show Jumping Championships. Been placed 1st – 3rd as INDIVIDUAL in the PC90 (Novice) or above Pony Club Show Jumping Championships. Rider is NOT eligible if they have: Previously competed at the Winter Series Open Grand Prix Championships; or The Pony Club Show Jumping Final at Hickstead
Class 4: (Qualifier) Pumpkin Pie - 90 cms

Clear Round Jumping – First class of the day.  ENTRY FEE: £6 Per Round or 2 Rounds for £10 same horse and rider combination.

Class 1: Mini Spooktacular – 60 cms £15.00

Class 2:  Spider Web Dodge – 70 cms £15.00

Class 3:  Halloween Hunting – 80 cms £15.00

Class 4: Pumpkin Pie – 90 cms £15.00

RULES & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY                

 

All Classes are run in accordance with The Pony Club Show Jumping 2020/1 Rule Book and the PC Spring Festival 2020 / 2021 Rules. This includes PC members wearing the correct attire.

All Pony Club members must wear tagged British Standard approved hardhats to standard: PAS 015 or 2011, VGI, Snell E2001, AS/NZS 3838 (2006 onwards) or ATSM F1163.

Non-members are allowed to compete in the Preliminary Rounds but must be paid up members to compete at the Area Competition.

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The West Hants

Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.

In the event of cancellation, entry fees will be refunded less £2. No entry will be refunded without a doctor’s or a vet certificate.

The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser and all Officials and Stewards.

Horses/ponies may not compete more than once in each class and no more than 3 classes. Stallions by prior approval of WHPC.

Clear up all droppings and hay. Hay nets not to be hung outside of trailers. No mucking out of horseboxes/trailers into the car park.

Judge’s decision is final. Objections to event organiser within 30 minutes of the incident with £20 refundable at the discretion of the WHPC Committee.

In all Pony Club Show Jumping, excessive use of the whip including repeated slapping down the shoulder is prohibited. The rules state that the whip may be used a maximum of three times during any round Use of the whip will be monitored, and excessive use may result in elimination at the discretion of the Judges.

Organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry, cancel the event or alter timings of phases and to divide or amalgamate classes according to entries.

CLASSES ARE SINGLE PHASE JUMPING

First phase: 5-7 obstacles not against the clock. Unless eliminated, continue straight on to the second phase without a bell being rung. Second phase: 5-7 obstacles which must be higher than the first phase, (maximum 12 obstacles in all). Competitors placed on total faults from both phases and time in second phase.  Qualifiers must have jumped a clear round in the first phase if run under single or two phase.

Teams of 3 or 4.  Open to All riders – Teams will ride in the Arena as individuals. Please state TEAM NAME on entry

The 3 best results will count towards the team score

Classes 3 & 4 are automatically Pony Club individual Spring Festival Challenge Qualifiers

Withdrawal & Refunds:

No entry will be refunded without a doctor’s or a vet certificate.

Cancellation Policy If the event is cancelled due to weather conditions, illness, loss of venue or unforeseen circumstances, then a full refund will be given less £2 admin fee less booking fee.
