The Pony Club Northern Regional Championships 2022

The 2022 Northern Regional Championships for will take place at Auchlishie Eventing, Kirriemuir,  Angus, DD8 4LS from Friday 5th August to Sunday 7 th August and are open to Pony Club

Branch/Centre teams and individuals who have qualified at their respective Area Regional

Qualifying Competitions in Areas 1,2,17 and 19.

Saturday 6th August
The Northern Regional Team & Individual Dressage Championships
Dressage Test – Pony Club Grassroots Dressage Test 2018
Entry Fee £32.00 per individual / team member

 

Sunday 7th August
The Northern Regional Team & Individual Eventing Championships

Dressage Test – Pony Club Grassroots Dressage Test 2018
Entry Fee £84.00 per individual / team member

Dogs are welcome but should be kept on short leads at all times.

On site catering will available throughout the event.

Entries & Entry Fees

All entries (teams and individuals) to be made online at the www.horse-events.co.uk

Entries close on Saturday 30th July 2022 for all competitions.

Late entries may be accepted at the organiser’s discretion. Late Entry Surcharge – £5.00.

All entry fees are exclusive of any booking / administration fees charged by Horse Events

If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date of the event please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the “My Booking” tab.
If you would like to change the class please email info@horse-events.co.uk and if there is space available we will do this for you.

For ALL changes of horse and rider substitutions after the closing date there is a £5 charge please fill out the following form online at: https://www.horse-events.co.uk/rider-horse-substitutions-form/

Withdrawals & Refunds

Prior to the closing date if a branch or centre withdraws a team or individual a full refund of the entry fee and stabling costs will be made, less an administration fee of £5.00.
Withdrawals after the Closing Date for the competitions will not be refunded except on production of a vet or medical certificate.

CONDITIONS of ENTRY

The competitions will be run in accordance with the relevant Pony Club Sport Rules 2022 for the particular competition in force as at the date of the competition. District Commissioners are responsible for ensuring the eligibility of Each horse and rider competing from their branch in respect of the relevant competition in which they are participating.

Horses/ponies competing may only be ridden by their competitor.

No horse or pony may be ridden more than once in each class.

A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Vaccinations must be in accordance with the

Health and Safety Rule Book 2022 and subsequent amendments.

No commanders are allowed in respect of both Dressage and Eventing competitions.

Competitors must provide their own number and number bib. The number should preferably be printed but in all cases must be clearly visible.

Queries may only be raised via the Secretary / Organiser by the DC or their appointee. Protests /objections will be managed as per the relevent Sport Rule Book 2022 provisions.
Competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or

TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.

After the closing date no substitution may be made of horses or riders except in the case of illness,
lameness or other unavoidable circumstances which must be certified in writing by the relevant District Commissioner to the event organiser.

No substitutions can be made after the competition has started.

LEGAL LIABILITY

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the Organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever

HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE

The Organisers of this Event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all the Officials and Stewards.

Event Booking Information

This event is being organised by West Perthshire Pony Club . Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.

As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.

We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.

Auchlishie Farm lies at the foothills of the spectacular Angus Glens.

Auchlishie is situated off the B955 Glens Road from Kirriemuir with easy access to the A90 Dundee/Aberdeen trunk road.
