Approximately 15 miles with some optional hunter trial jumps
(or shortened routes of approximately 10 miles and a route for lead rein entries)
The routes are entirely off road through beautiful parkland woods and tracks.
Start number will be given upon arrival. Start times between 9.30am – 2pm.
Please do not arrive before 9am
Last start time for longer route will be 1 pm.
Under 13 years must be accompanied by an adult. Under 16 years must wear body protection
We regret that cyclists are not permitted to accompany riders around any of the routes.
BBQ available throughout the day – cash only
A Veterinary Surgeon, Doctor and Medics will be present or on call on the day.

Important Information
- Please arrive at the event anytime after 900am on Saturday April 29th .
- If you would like to do the longer routes please start before 1pm, if you would like to do the shorter route, please start before 2pm.
- On arrival at the park, you will be asked for your name/s and given a rider pack. This will contain your participant number and important information for the day. To make the process run as quickly as possible and to prevent too much waiting, the participant number will be given in arrival order.
- Once registered we will then direct you to the parking area. Please can we request that you park as near to the previous vehicle as is possible to enable us to maximise the space we have available to us.
- If you are meeting another rider for the event and wish to be parked near each other, please can we ask that you meet outside of the park and travel in convoy, as we cannot guarantee that you will be parked together.
- Please be mindful that the event will be busy, particularly at the starting area.
- Please ensure that you return to the start/finish area and inform the marshal that you have finished your ride and collect your rosette.

All Persons entering Grimsthorpe Park must fully insure themselves, their horses and their vehicles. BCC Ride and Drive (the organisers) and Grimsthorpe Estate accept no liability whatsoever for any accidents or incidents.
General Rules
- Riders must wear hard riding hats or skull caps and be tidily dressed
- Under 13s must be accompanied by an adult
- Under 16s must wear body protection
- Make sure your tack is safe for the ride and if your horse/pony is shod, please ensure it is well shod
- Riders may retire their horses at any checkpoint should they wish to do so, but they must report to a marshal so that the mileage is recorded
- Marshals will be authorised to ask a rider to withdraw or await veterinary opinion at the start of any check point on the route should they consider it necessary
- The organisers will not accept liability for any damage, accident or injury to any animal, person or property
- Riders MUST check out as they return to the start/finish at the end of their ride
- Riders must keep to the course and strictly observe all signs on the route; and show due consideration for other riders. Only the jumps marked with flags may be jumped
- REFUND UP UNTIL Monday April 24th, we would appreciate if a donation to the charity could be made, but we understand that times are hard for everyone. Entry fees are not returnable if for any reason the rider is unable to start AFTER THE 24TH April
- One rider in each group must carry a mobile phone

This event is being organised by The Bythams with Careby and Creeton Ride . Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.
