OPEN TO PC AND NON PC MEMBERS
Qualifier for Horse Events Unaffiliated Eventing Championships 1st & 2nd October 2022 at Calmsden 80, 90 & 100cm
The Cross Country Course is run on old parkland turf and is designed and maintained by Guy Herbert.
All entries should be made online using www.horse-events.co.uk
Entries close Sunday 19th June unless full, event usually oversubscribed (late entries if space)
Dogs to be kept on leads.

Entry limited to 2 horses per rider

Entry Fees All Classes
Burghley PC Members: £65 per class
Pony Club Members: £70 per class
Non-Members: £75 per class
No separate start fee or first aid fee, booking fee is non-refundable
This is a single booking form process and entries will not be confirmed without payment.
Rider and Horse amendments can be made online by logging into your Horse Events account under ‘my bookings’. Here you can edit your details up until close of entries.

Times & Course Walking
Times will be posted on www.ponyclubresults.co.uk and www.horse-events.co.uk on Thurs 30th June by 8pm.
Please print your numbers at home – found on pony club results.
Course open for inspection Saturday 2nd July 2pm – 6pm or with care on the day of competition. Gates will be locked at 6pm on the Saturday.

If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date of the event please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘MY BOOKING’ Tab.
If you would like to change the class please email info@horse-events.co.uk and if there is space available we will do this for you.
For ALL changes of horse and rider substitutions after the closing date there is a £5 charge please fill out the following form online at: https://www.horseevents.co.uk/rider-horse-substitutions-form/
After times have been produced please contact the event secretary
After the closing date for substitutions may only be made as per P.C. Eventing Rules 2022.

Withdrawals & Refunds
Withdrawal before close of entries – full refund given
Withdrawal between close of entries and before times are issued – 50%
Withdrawal after times – No Refund given
After the closing date no refunds will be made without a Doctors or Vets certificate produced no later than 24 hours after the event. If produced after this no refunded will be given.
Refunds where due after the closing date are subject to an admin fee of: £5
In the event of abandonment 75% of the entry fee will be refunded.

Entry is deemed to be in acceptance of these conditions:

This event will be run under the Pony Club Eventing Rules 2022 https://pcuk.org/officials/rulebooks
All hats must be tagged to comply with the Pony Club Hat Rule 2022, with an Aqua hat tag. Hat tagging will be available at the information point.
Body Protectors BETA Level 3 2009 or 2018, must be worn for the cross country phase, and at a minimum, shoulders must be covered when competing. Air jackets if worn for xc, must be over the body protector.
Competitors ELIMINATED for 3 refusals or INCURRING MORE THAN 24 JUMPING PENALTIES in the SJ phase WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO START THE CROSS COUNTRY as a safety measure.
Stopwatches are allowed in any class, deliberate slowing to the finish will be penalised.
Dressage commanders are not allowed, organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel classes.
Horses/Ponies should not be left unattended outside at any time.

This event is being organised by Burghley Pony Club. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event nor The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health, Safety and Welfare
The organiser of this Event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards.
Insurance
Non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club Insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Burghley Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
