An opportunity to ride over the many and varied fences on good turf with 3 set courses at heights ranging from 60cms to 1m 20. Courses many be ridden more than once and may also be ridden as a pair.
Team chase fences ONLY the 1m10 will be available after 2pm for a limited number of teams of 3 or 4 wishing to practice but only one round per team.

Each entry pays a non-returnable fee of £15, plus a £1.35 admin fee – second and third rounds are £10 each if paid for online on the same entry form.
Please indicate on the online form if you are wishing to ride as team chase group.
Online entries close on Thursday 24th September.
Late entries on the day are subject to available spaces and at £5 extra per round. NO CHEQUES WILL BE ACCEPTED CASH OR CARD PAYMENTS ONLY.Entries on the day will close at 1.30pm including team chase teams.

The Course
THE COURSE:
There will be 3 courses marked: approximately 60cms, approximately 80cms and approximately 1m 10 or over. You must jump only the fences that are flagged in the order they are numbered.
Yellow – Approximately 60cms. Blue approximately 80cms. Red approximately 1m 10cm
Times will be allocated and to guarantee the ability to ride at least one round, enter online as slots will be limited. The courses will be available to be walked from 2pm on 26th September

DIRECTIONS: located on the B3051 Kingsclere to Overton/Whitchurch road, two miles south of Kingsclere.

This event is being organised by Berks & Bucks Draghounds. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.
Venue Information
The course run over undulating old downland turf, that rides well in most weather conditions. The fences are up to height, which encourages bold riding; there are 20 – 34 jumps on each course and there are no water jumps.

General Rules
- THE RULES:
IT IS A CONDITION OF ENTRY TO THE PREMISES THAT ALL ATTENDEES MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING, ACT IN A SAFE AND SENSIBLE MANNER AND ENSURE THEY HAVE ADEQUATE MEANS TO TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT THE TRANSMISSION OF COVID-19. YOU MUST NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE FEELING UNWELL.
1) All riders must wear suitable riding clothes with hard hats or crash helmets to the latest European standards and body protectors.
2) Horses and ponies must be four years old or over. The course may be ridden more than once but no more than 3 times by the same animal.
3) Dogs must be kept on leads at all times. No loose dogs as there are grazing sheep.
4) Riders MUST follow the instructions of the stewards.
5) This is not a fun ride but a serious cross country practice and a suitable speed of riding must be maintained. Only three attempts are allowed at any jump.
6) Passing is allowed but please be safe and courteous.
7) The organisers, the landowners, all persons and all organisations involved in the event disclaim all liability for any loss or damage to any person or property, howsoever caused, whether by negligence or otherwise. It is up to participants and spectators to make their own insurance arrangements and third party liability insurance is a mandatory requirement for entry.
8) The decision of the Hon. Secretary on any matter shall be final.
9) Failure to carry out instructions from a steward may lead to disqualification and riders may be asked to leave the course.
10) No food or toilet facilities will be available at the venue. Running water is available.
