LATE ENTRIES may be accepted online if classes are not full for an additional £10.

All Entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee £2 per entry.
All horses must be vaccinated
We work on an annual basis.
There must be 6 clear days between any vaccination injection given and the date of the event. – NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE
Times & Course Walk
START TIMES: available at www.horse-events.co.uk and www.sapeycrosscountry.co.uk 1800 on Wednesday 21st April.
COURSE WALKING:
The XC Course will be open for walking between 2pm – 8pm on Friday 23rd April for ALL competitors. Please only bring one asdditional person when walking the course to help limit the number of people onsite. Please note the gates will not be open before 2pm

Withdrawals & Refunds
Withdrawal Policy – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
WITHDRAWALS: no later than Wednesday 14th April.
ALL Withdrawals must be registered by email to: info@horse-events.co.uk
Please note if withdrawing after the closing date in order to obtain your refund we MUST receive a vet’s or doctor’s certificate. No later than the Monday following the event to obtain a refund.
Withdrawal policy depending on date of withdrawal:
- Withdrawals for whatever reason before the closing date will receive a refund minus the £10 admin fee.
- Withdrawals made AFTER the Closing & Withdrawal date for a veterinary to the horse or medical reason to the rider, are non-refundable unless a replacement from our wait list is found. In this situation a full refund will be given minus the £10 admin fee.
(If entries are open and there is no wait list – no refunds will be issued) - Withdrawals made 24 hours before the event for whatever reason are non-refundable.
Event Cancellation As you can appreciate at this time, we cannot insure against cancelling due to COVID-19. In the event of cancellation for any reason all entries will be refunded minus a £15 cancellation charge per entry.
When refunds are due please note these will be processed back onto the card you paid on.
Start Fees and Number
START FEE: £10 per horse – a link to pay your start fee will be with your event times. All start fees should be paid for before attending event. (In the event of not being able to attend after paying your start fee this will be refunded)

PRIZES & ROSETTES
There will be no formal prize giving please do NOT wait around for your results, after you have finished riding, we would ask you to leave the venue as soon as you can.
Dressage sheets will be emailed by request greta@sapeycrosscountry.co.uk or posted on receipt of SAE sent to Sapey Cross Country, Mill Farm, Stanford Bridge, Worcester. WR6 6SP
For any objections to be made the final set of results will be confirmed at 8pm on the day of the event. If you would like to object or have us check your score you have until 7pm on the day of the competition to do so. Objections must be made to info@horse-events.co.uk or text 07962 251696.
Rosettes: to 10th place on receipt of SAE sent to Sapey Cross Country, Mill Farm, Stanford Bridge, Worcester, WR6 6SP.
Prize money: will be awarded up to 6th place for all classes depending on section number of starters.

General Rules
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
All classes run in accordance with BE rules. It is the responsibility of all competitors to ensure that their tack and dress are current in accordance with the Rules.
- Hats must be worn that conform to PAS015 (1998 or 2011) VG01.040 2014-12*
All the above with BSI Kitemark or Inspec IC Mark.
American ASTM F1163: 2004a onwards with SEI mark
Snell 2001 or 2016 (No other mark is needed with snell)
No fixed peak hats should be worn for the Cross-Country phase.
- No earrings, studs or other body jewellery should be worn.
- An effective body protector must be worn for the Cross-Country phase and is highly recommended in the show jumping phase. (BETA) approved and labelled “Level 3 body protector” with the year 200 or 2009 shown on the label.
- An Exo Body Cage can be worn but must be declared to the event secretary prior to the cross-country phase. Inflatable Air Jackets may be worn over a permitted body protector for the XC phase.
- Horses / Ponies must be over 4 years of age.
- No horse may be ridden more than once on the day of the competition.
- Elimination – After 3 refusals at any one fence or 4 cumulative refusals the rider will be eliminated and asked to leave the course in walk.
- Outside Assistance – It is forbidden to give any outside assistance to help a competitor during any phase of the event.
- Rider or Horse Fall will be eliminated in any phase of the event. Riders who have had a fall must be checked by the Doctor before leaving the site. Likewise, a Vet must check over a horse who has fallen.
- Insurance – Each competitor must carry their own insurance liability, whether Pony Club, Riding Club, BHS, BE or independent cover
- Litter, horse manure and dog poo bags must be always taken home.
Additional Rules Practices in place for COVID 19
ANYONE VUNERABLE OR DISPLAYING ANY COVID 19 SYMPTOMS MUST NOT ATTEND
These Conditions are subject to change with the developing guidelines. Please ensure you are familiar with them prior to coming to the event. An up-to-date copy will be attached to the event times Number of people Entering the site Currently each Competitor is ONLY allowed to bring 1 additional supporting person with them. This person must travel in the vehicle to the event with the rider and ideally be able to drive the vehicle and horse home in the event of an accident. (if your supporting person is unable to drive the vehicle you MUST have provisions made to ensure the vehicle and horse can be removed from the venue) We also ask that this supporting person must be available to help the rider alongside medical staff in the event of an accident if required. The name of the supporting person will be asked for at the time of booking. No extra people will be allowed onsite other than the rider, named support person, volunteers & officials. All other people will be asked to leave. No additional children other than those riding or with volunteers from the same household. Should this event be cancelled at short notice due to COVID-19 the organisers will retain £15.00 per entry fee to cover costs.

One-way traffic system for Boxes and Trailers that must be adhered to.
Please come in from the B4203 ONLY. There is NO ACCESS from B4212 (Stoke Bliss/ Kyre)
Please note this will not apply to other road users so please proceed with care on the Wolferlow lane.

This event is being organised by Sapey Cross Country. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.

From M5 South/Worcester/Leominster: Take A44.
From Hereford A465 to Bromyard
Travelling north from Bromyard take the B4203 over Bromyard Downs. After 6 miles turn left at the crossroads for Wolferlow and Stoke Bliss.
From M5 North & Droitwich A443 / Stourport A451 to Gt Witley
From Gt Witley take the B4203 towards Bromyard for 6 miles, go through Upper Sapey and past Sapey Golf Club, 1 mile further turn right at the crossroads for Wolferlow and Stoke Bliss.
From A49 North / Ludlow Take the A456 to Tenbury Wells
From Tenbury Wells take B4204 towards Clifton-on-Teme. At the Upper Sapey Crossroads turn right B4203 towards Bromyard go through Upper Sapey and past Sapey Golf Club, 1 mile turn right at the crossroads for Wolferlow and Stoke Bliss.
Please note: There will be a strict one way system operating so please follow above instructions exactly.

Health & Safety – The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health & Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take responsible precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers, all Officials and Stewards. Additionally, those attending this event must report any accidents to the Secretary or Organiser of the event, Property; vehicle damage; Personal injury or Personal Illness.
