SJ Training for those just starting to jump through to those jumping up to 60cm including lead rein – 1 hour sessions.

Rules of the Rally:

Dress Code Members for all Rufford Hunt Pony Club events

Rufford Polo and Sweatshirt or white Shirt and Pony Club Tie, Black, Brown, Navy White or Beige Jodhpurs.

Jodhpur or Long Boots (No Trainers, Wellies or Muckers allowed whilst riding)

Riding hat conforming to Pony Club Standard (tagged) – for XC skull caps must be worn.

Any new members attending for the first time or if any member has recently purchased a new hat your hat must be checked and tagged before you are allowed to ride.

Long hair must be secured neatly / worn in a hair net.

No Jewellery allowed.

RUFFORD PONY CLUB RALLY GUIDANCE

Covid safety – previous restrictions were lifted on February 24th 2022.

If you are showing covid symptoms we recommend you test before attending.

If you have had a positive result government guidelines advise you stay at home for 5 days and advise of 2 consecutive days of negative tests from day 5 onwards.

It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to ensure both rider and horse are fit to complete the session.

Vaccination requirements (it is the member/parent’s responsibility to ensure compliance before booking – vaccination checks will take place):

Equine Vaccinations:

*** New 2022 Equine Flu Vaccinations ***:

All horses/ponies entering the event site must comply with the Pony Club Vaccination guidelines (effective 1^st Jan 2022) – passports must accompany all horses/ponies and spot checks will be undertaken:

• An initial primary course of two vaccinations must be given: the second vaccination must be administered within 21-92 days of the first vaccination.
• Horses may attend gatherings 7 days after receiving the second vaccination of the primary course. (for clarity: no horse or pony may compete on the same day as a relevant injection is given or on any of the 6 days following such an injection)
• The first booster must be administered within 7 calendar months following the date of the administration of the second vaccination of the primary course
• Booster vaccinations must be administered at a maximum of 12 months intervals however horses competing at Area level and above, including Grassroots Regional Championships and the final of the Spring Festival competitions, must have received a booster within the 6 months +21 days (but not within the 7 days) before arrival at the competition.

Passports must accompany horses to all events (legal requirement) and should be presented to the event organiser for checking on arrival.

If the event is cancelled for any reason entry fees  will be refunded excluding Horse-Events booking fee less 40p admin costs
