This training will not count towards Area rally requirements

Dress Code Members for all Rufford Hunt Pony Club events

Rufford Polo and Sweatshirt or white Shirt and Pony Club Tie, Black, Brown, Navy White or Beige Jodhpurs.

Jodhpur or Long Boots (No Trainers, Wellies or Muckers allowed whilst riding).

Riding hat conforming to Pony Club Standard (tagged) – for XC skull caps must be worn.

Any new members attending for the first time or if any member has recently purchased a new hat your hat must be checked and tagged before you are allowed to ride.

Long hair must be secured neatly / worn in a hair net.

No Jewellery allowed.




We are pleased to be able to share our events with you, however to be able to run the training / rallies we are required to follow Government, Local Authority and Pony Club Covid-19 rules.

Please support us by following the rules and don’t compromise the rally organiser, coach, committee member or venue by bending them – non-compliance will result in members being asked to leave the event as advised by Pony Club Central Office. 

Please book with the following in mind: 

    • If you have any symptoms or suspect you may have been exposed to the virus, please stay at home
    • If your or your horse/pony reside in a post code area which becomes locked down, please do not attend
    • If you or anyone from your household are feeling unwell – go home without approaching other members/parents
    • On the booking via horse-events please indicate name of parent/helper attending and contact phone number to adhere with track and trace requirements




Equine Vaccinations:

Vaccination requirements (it is the member/parent’s responsibility to ensure compliance before booking – vaccination checks will take place) 

*** New 2022 Equine Flu Vaccinations ***:

All horses/ponies entering the event site must comply with the Pony Club Vaccination guidelines (effective 1st Jan 2022) – passports must accompany all horses/ponies and spot checks will be undertaken:


  • An initial primary course of two vaccinations must be given: the second vaccination must be administered within 21-60 days of the first vaccination.
  • Horses may attend gatherings 7 days after receiving the second vaccination of the primary course. (for clarity: no horse or pony may compete on the same day as a relevant injection is given or on any of the 6 days following such an injection)
  • The first booster must be administered within 6 calendar months following the date of the administration of the second vaccination of the primary course
  • Booster vaccinations must be administered at a maximum of 12 months intervals however horses competing at Area level and above, including Grassroots Regional Championships and the final of the Spring Festival competitions, must have received a booster within the 6 months +21 days (but not within the 7 days) before arrival at the competition.
  • Horses that received the primary course prior to 1 January 2022 should be permitted to have an interval of up to 92 days between the first and second vaccination of the primary course and for the first booster an interval of up to 7 months following the date of the administration of the second vaccination of the primary course.
  • Horses that received the primary course prior to 1 January 2005 are not required to fulfil the requirement for the first booster, providing there has not been an interval of more than 12 months between each of their subsequent booster vaccinations

If the event is cancelled for any reason entry fees  will be refunded excluding Horse-Events booking fee less 40p admin costs

This event is being organised by Rufford Pony Club. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.

As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.

We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.
