Class 2, 4 per pair (that includes 1 PC/ Centre member) £25 per pair with no PC/Centre Member £27
All entries are subject to a non-refundable £1.45 booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis

Late entries £3.00 extra if class not already full.

TIMES and NUMBERS
BOGEY TIME IN OPERATION FOR ALL CLASSES
Individual times will be allocated for Class 1, start times for other classes. Please check for your times on the Hursley PC Website http://branches.pcuk.org/hursley
All competitors should print their own numbers and bring a number bib. Numbers and template will be available on the Hursley PC Website http://branches.pcuk.org/hursley

Withdrawals and Refunds
Refund Policy Full refund up until closing date, after closing date refund only if replaced from the wait list. All entries are subject to a non refundable booking fee of 1.45
Event booking Closing Date 21-09-2021 – Admin Fee to be charged AFTER withdrawal date £5.00
Cancellation Policy In the event of cancellation due to bad weather etc the cancellation fee to be £5.00

Rosettes to 8th place plus there will be a rosette for highest placed parent & child pair in classes 2 & 4
Cup will be awarded to highest placed Hursley PC member in classes 1A, 3A & 5A

ENTRY CONDITIONS:
Anyone vulnerable, displaying any COVID 19 symptoms, or from a lock-down area must not attend. Guidelines may change and the latest version will be attached with times – please ensure you are familiar with them before coming to the event.
- There needs to be a minimum of people on site. At time of writing only competing children plus two adults from the same household may attend. No other supporters please. Please be aware of current Government restrictions, which may alter after these rules were written.
- Supporting adults must travel in the vehicle to the event with the rider and ideally be able to drive the vehicle and horse home in the event of an accident. This supporting person must be available to help rider alongside medical staff in the event of an accident if needed.
- Numbers and times will be published on Hursley PC website no later than Friday 2nd
- Competitors to complete their round and leave as quickly as possible, results will be posted on-line Sunday evening and rosettes posted.
- Numbers must be printed off by entrant at home and will checked in vehicle on arrival. Numbers must be big and clear enough to be read by judges and worn front and back on rider and 1 visible in the lorry/ vehicle.
- Hat and body protector compliance will be checked on arrival through the window of the vehicle
- There will be a distanced visual tack check, but no assistance to tighten girths etc can be given
- All competitors must take responsibility for competing at their allocated time
- No-one on foot allowed in warm up area with riders
- Maximum of 6 riders in warm up at any time
- Follow the one-way system leading to a minimum of ‘close encounters’
- Spectators and supporters may watch their own rider but not gather in any groups
- There will be no secretary at the event
- Direction and instruction from the stewards must be followed at all times.
- Please observe Social Distancing and hand hygiene. There will be hand sanitisers available, but suggest you bring your own as well. You may wear masks, but not when mounted. They are not compulsory when unmounted
- No Substitutions after close of entries due to Covid track and trace restrictions

This event is being organised by HURSLEY PONY CLUB. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.

Welcome to Dene Farm Cross Country Course
A schooling and competition facility for you and your horse
Four miles of cross country through undulating farmland and woodland tracks with a good variety of optional jumps ranging from uprights to spreads, steps, ditches and two water complexes. Heights range from: 1’3″; 2’3″; 2’6″; 2’9″ & 3’3″.

Rules 2021
- Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
- The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
- All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Hursley Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you
4 Approved hard hats must be worn by all riders at all times when mounted. All Pony Club members must wear a hat tagged with a PC approved hat tag. A jockey skull cap with no fixed peak must be worn for all classes.
5 This event will be run in accordance with the Pony Club rules for Eventing 2021 Pony Club rules for Eventing are available to download from the Pony Club Website www.pcuk.org and a copy will be held with the secretary on the day of the competition. This includes PC /Centre members wearing the correct Pony Club attire.
6 No horses or ponies less than four years old and no Stallions without permission of our DC.
- The organiser’s decision is final and they reserve the right to reject the entry or entries made by any person if they deem fit to do so and the right to cancel any classes, refunding any fees in respect thereof after costs. No refund of entry fee without vet’s or doctor’s certificate. The judge’s decision is final. In the event of cancellation, entry fees will be refunded less £3.00 per rider to cover administration costs.
- Any objections are to be made to the secretary within 30 minutes of the incident, together with £10, refundable at the discretion of the committee.
- Mucking out of horse boxes or trailers in the car park is forbidden. TAKE HOME ALL LOOSE HAY AND DROPPINGS.
- Body protectors toBETA 2009 Level 3 standard (purple label) or BETA 2018 Level 3 standard (blue and black label). must be worn on the course and there will be a statutory tack check.
- No horse / pony may be ridden more than twice around the course or once in any class.
- No mounted competitor is allowed on the course prior to the official start.
- If any horse is deemed unfit or unwell the organisers have the right to have the animal removed from the showground.
- Competitors having difficulty with an obstacle must clear the area if a following competitor is approaching the obstacle.
- Course may not be ridden by competitors for 7 days prior to the competition.
- It is a condition of entry that competitors keep to the flagged route to minimise damage to crops. Failure to do so will incur elimination.
- No jewellery (including watches) allowed. No stopwatches to be worn by riders whilst competing apart from in class 5. Long Hair must be tied back and in a hairnet.
- Outside assistance is forbidden and will result in elimination of the competitor.
- Anyone riding on the ATV Mule will not be covered under Pony Club Insurance.
- The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any competitor/supporter showing cruel or discourteous behaviour or on the grounds of Health & Safety.
- Entries to be taken in strict order of receipt. Only paper/ horse-event entries with correct fee accepted – no email entries.
- Full refund ( less booking fee) before closing date, after closing date refund ( less booking fee and £5 admin fee) only if replaced from wait list.
