Ride – Sunday 19th June – Flamstead PC Field AL3 8AP (opposite the Beechwood Park Drive)

Tetrathlon Entry Fees: Beanies £35 – FPC Members £30 , Tadpoles, Minis, Juniors, Seniors £40 – FPC Members £35
Triathlon Entry Fees: Beanies £12 – FPC MEMBERS £10 Tadpoles, Minis, Juniors, Seniors and Adults £20 – FPC MEMBERS £15
All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis
The CLOSING DATE for entries to be RECEIVED with payment is no later than 28th May 2022.

we will do this for you.
• For ALL changes of horse and rider substitutions after the closing date there is a £5 charge please fill out the following form online at: https://www.horse-events.co.uk/rider-horse-substitutions-form/
• Final Briefing Notes will be issued with times.
• Please report to the Arena Steward in time to be (visually) tack checked before your allotted time.
• Please follow all directional markings and all instructions from our stewards and volunteers. It is the competitor’s responsibility to be in the right place at the right time.
• Please print your own numbers:
• 3 for ride phase – front/back and 1 for lorry/car WITH BIB
• We will be running live scoring via Pony Club Results and a WhatsApp Group for Team Manager querieson the day.
• There will be catering facilities available.
• The school has requested that we do not use the playground equipment
• No dogs allowed on Saturday at the school.
• On Sunday, no dogs past the car park field, and then must be always on leads.
• We hope to be able to give everyone a great, fun competition

There will be rosettes for 1 – 6th placed teams and individuals, and medals for best shoot and run in each class.
Disciplines
SHOOTING
• As per the The Pony Club Tetrathlon 2022 Rule Book. Please note requirements for shooting glasses, which are compulsory at 7 metres.
• Will be held in the Sports Hall; no outdoor shoes allowed so bring clean trainers.
SWIM
Please note the dimensions of the pool are 19m long, with depth from 1.8m to 08.m. Competitors can dive from the deep end, although there are no blocks, and are advised of the shallow depth if they wish to tumble turn.
Parents can enter the pool from the far end (not through the changing rooms) and watch from behind the spectator sections at deep end.
RUN
Will be held on the Sports Field and numbers will be supplied.
RIDE
• If anyone wishes to jump a course below their class, they should state this on the Entry Form.
• Competitors who jump the course below their own will incur 500 penalties.
• Will include a Slip Rail and Gate (Halt box for Beanies and Tadpoles)
• Competitors may be led in Beanies and Tadpoles but will incur 400 penalties for Tadpoles and 200
penalties for Beanies.
• JOCKEY SKULL caps must be worn at all times when mounted with the chinstrap fastened. They must bear the CE mark and quality symbol, either BS kitemark PAS 015:1998 or 2011, the official SNELL E2001 onwards label or the SEI global symbol.
• All hats must carry the correct Pony Club, British Eventing or British Riding Club tag.
• It is compulsory that body protectors are worn by all competitors, to meet BETA 2009 Level 3 standard (purple label) or BETA 2018 Level 3 standard (blue and black label).
• Please remember NO OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE unless you are leading in Beanies or Tadpoles
• As per above, please print your own numbers and bring number bibs.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE:
HORSES/PONIES MUST HAVE BEEN VACCINATED IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO, BUT NOT WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE COMPETITION.
PASSPORTS MAY BE CHECKED ON ARRIVAL AT THE COMPETITION VENUE.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Refund Policy: No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.

OBJECTIONS
Any objections regarding the scoring for each discipline may ONLY be made by the TEAM MANAGER, and within 20 minutes of the scores being displayed, preferably via WhatsApp.

This event is being organised by Flamstead Pony Club . Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.

Insurance
The Pony Club ‘Public and Products Liability Insurance’ Policy includes cover for all the official Area Competitions and the Championships. Details of this insurance are available on The Pony Club website.
In the event of any accident, loss or damage occurring to a third party or to the property of a third party (including the general public and competitors) no liability should be admitted, and full details should be sent at once to The Pony Club Office. The following statements should be included in all event schedules:
Health & Safety
Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.

Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or
illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis
