**Please note the road is currently closed at Aston X Roads – do not follow diversion signs instead stay on the A361 through Chipping Warden and into Wardington. Take the first left by Hare and Hounds pub. Then follow directions below from Banbury.**
Our postcode is OX17 1AG that will get you to the estate but not the Arena which is at Wardington Gate Farm, also signed Coach House Pop Up Restaurant.
If coming from North (A361 from Daventry) coming from Aston x roads towards Culworth/Sulgrave (go over small bridge & immediately turn right after bridge signed Edgcote) or from Culworth (turn left immediately before narrow bridge) follow sat nav onto estate.
You will go over a long bridge over a pond (under trees) the road will wiggle a bit then on a left corner sat nav will tell you to turn right down a dead end road (there is a postbox on the corner & church /main house down the dead end road) Ignore sat nav & follow road to left. Go through cottages and we are the next farm on the right Wardington Gate Farm.
Go through the electric gates and the entrance to the yard is behind the barn directly in front of you to the right.
If coming from Banbury you leave the A361 in Wardington at the Hare & Hounds pub.
Go 1/4 mile & you are looking for the 1st farm on the left. Ignore the first entrance Wardington Gate Stables and take the 2nd which says farm. Sat nav will tell you to continue.
Electric gates will open. Parking on other side of electric gates.
Sarah Gairdner (nee Millard) is an Advanced International event rider who, along with her team, runs Danesmoor Eventing. Her passion for horses has steered her whole life, and she encourages her team to work sympathetically towards maximizing each horse’s natural ability.
Sarah is both a BE & BHS accredited coach and has recently become a Cente10 accredited coach. She runs regular clinics both mounted, unmounted & evening talks with Guest speakers. Sarah is also now available to have short or long term bespoke residential training.
Danesmoor Eventing’s name came about from The Battle of Danes Moor in 914 between the Saxons and the Danes, North-East of Banbury, taking place on the earth where Sarah’s yard is now built.
Sarah is always looking to take on more rides at all levels, so if you are looking to place your own horse in a competition yard or would like to ‘buy in’ to the excitement and rewards of owning an event horse, there are many options available at Danesmoor Eventing.
Tap into the experience and ethos of the team with training and livery. Sarah has many loyal pupils who she regularly works with and is always happy to take on new clients and will work in all disciplines, from grassroots upwards.
