BERKS & BUCKS DragHound Opening Meet – Brockhurst School – Hermitage

Sunday 8th Oct

Meet: Brockhurst School, Marlston Road, Hermitage, RG18 9UU.

What3Words : https://what3words.com/umbrellas.dustbin.pythons

Directions : Brockhurst School is located on the Hermitage to Marlston Road, close to junction 13 of the M4. Parking can be found in car park opposite the school entrance.

From M4 Junc 13 Roundabout, take the A34 North turning, do not get on the A34 but rather take slip road signposted to Hermitage, at the T Junction turn right into Graces Lane/Priors Court Road, follow road and turn left at Roundabout onto B4009 Newbury Road. Then take the first right into Marlston Road. Brockhurst School is on your right after a few miles. Parking can be found in car park opposite the school entrance.

Description : With the first line around the school building, there are two more lines with no compulsory fences. However, many of the jumps are beautifully dressed with greenery or gorse and are very inviting. The old climbing posts from Newbury Showground have found a new home here as four lovely ascending fences. A speciality of this meet is the hack along the River Pang. The going is always good as is the company !
