Run over BE standard courses built up to height by Guy Herbert, on old parkland, which provides excellent going and will be treated if needed. BD Judges, BS Course Builder & Judge.

COVID – 19 Return to Sport guidelines to be followed
ARRIVE – COMPETE – LEAVE:
1 person only on site with rider – no additional siblings / spectators / coach
Steward will adjust SJ, No-one on foot allowed in warm up areas with riders.
2m social distancing & sanitisation procedures.
Dogs must be on leads at all times.

Entry limited to 2 horses per rider
Entries close Weds 12th August unless full, event usually oversubscribed, late entries if space +£10.

No separate start fee or first aid fee, booking fee is non-refundable. In the event of abandonment due to ground conditions or cancellation due to government COVID or sporting guidelines changing, £20 per entry may be retained to contribute to fixed costs, with the balance refunded.
Times, Eligibility and Class Running Order
BE style number bibs will be needed with a printed number which you must print out at home (2 for the front and back of bib and third for your vehicle) – accessed via eventing scores and bring with you.
Eligibility: As per Pony Club Eventing rules, please compete at level combination ready for, especially if this is your first competition after lockdown. Assistance not allowed in any class.
Class Running Orders
Approximate class start times – will be confirmed after close of entries – before detailed times are published, to minimise numbers on site.
Scores & Dressage Tests
We will post scores online NOT on event scoreboards to maintain social distancing – www.eventingscores.co.uk There will be a process to query while maintaining social distancing, which will be listed with the times and at the information point
Sheets will NOT be available on the day. Tests, which may have minimal comments if judge writing for themselves, can be posted only if an SAE is left in the box at information point on the day.
Course open for inspection Saturday 22nd August 2pm – 7pm, when gates locked, or can be walked with care on the day of competition.
Prizes and Rosettes
No Prize giving on site
Each Section: Prizes to 3rd place – which will be sent to winners or can be donated to the branch
The Forever Faye Cup will be awarded to the best performance from a Belvoir member in memory of former Belvoir member Faye Cree.
Covid 19 Measures
Anyone vulnerable, displaying any COVID 19 symptoms, or from a lock-down area must not attend. Guidelines may change and the latest version will be attached with times – please ensure you are familiar with them before coming to the event.
Currently each competitor is ONLY allowed to bring 1 additional supporting person with them.
This person must travel in the vehicle to the event with the rider and ideally be able to drive the vehicle and horse home in the event of an accident. This supporting person must be available to help rider alongside medical staff in the event of an accident if needed.
The name of the supporting person will be asked for at the time of booking. No extra people will be allowed on-site other than the rider, named support person, volunteers and officials.
Competitors ELIMINATED for 3 refusals or INCURRING MORE THAN 24 JUMPING PENALTIES in the SJ phase WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO START THE CROSS COUNTRY as a safety measure.
Stopwatches are allowed in any class, deliberate slowing to the finish will be penalised.
Dressage commanders are not allowed, organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel classes.
Horses/Ponies should not be left unattended outside at any time.

XC Course – run in the beautiful undulating setting of Buckminster Park, this will be up to height and a more technical course than the BE Buckminster track for the Open and Intermediate and a bespoke course for the Novice, all with additional fences from previous years, designed and built by Philip and Guy Herbert.

Legal Liability Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event nor The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health, Safety and Welfare The organiser of this Event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards.
Insurance Non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club Insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Belvoir Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
